CHICAGO—Crocs, maker of the distinctive and popular line of footwear, has named marketing and communications firm Cramer-Krasselt as its global agency of record. This marks the first time that the company has consolidated all of its advertising, media, digital and public relations with a single, integrated agency.

“We chose Cramer-Krasselt for its holistic and integrated approach to brand communications as well as its deep understanding of Crocs consumers throughout the world,” says Ken Chaplin, vice president of marketing at Crocs. “C-K presented a global brand platform and creative executions that, when combined, provide a compelling brand story sure to reach the millions of Crocs fans worldwide while introducing new people to our unique and innovative footwear.”

Cramer-Krasselt won the consolidated assignment following an extensive three-month review process. The agency’s Chicago office will handle brand strategy, creative, interactive, online, media planning and buying and public relations, with global support through the agency’s ICOM network. The first work is expected to launch in spring 2010.
