STAMFORD, CT—Creative Partners, a Connecticut-based advertising, design, and public relations agency, has acquired Emmanuel Kerr Kilsby in a deal that will more than double the size of its public relations business.

According to the firm’s chairman and chief executive officer Peter Schelfhaudt, “Emmanuel Kerr Kilsby has been one of the region’s leading business-to-business public relations firm for the past decade,” with a client list that includes UBS, Health Net and Gabelli Asset Management.

Creative Partners offers a wide range of corporate and marketing communications services to companies such as U.S. Trust, Dictaphone, Skip Barber Racing and Danbury Hospital. With the addition of EKK’ss seven professionals, Creative Partners now has 10 public relations employees.

“We’ve had a long association with Emmanuel Kerr Kilsby and its owners,” says Schelfhaudt. “In Nick Kilsby and Victor Emmanuel, we have added a wealth of financial services, healthcare and technology experience, clients and contacts that will add depth and breadth to our public relations practice.”

EKK president Nick Kilsby, added: “Although media relations is still at the heart of the business, its form has changed dramatically with the advent of instant communications over the Internet. Clients need the smarts, access and tools to promote their brands nimbly and in a much greater variety of media. Creative Partners is organized to deliver just that.”
