NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Kate Cronin as managing director and co-head of the agency’s global health and medical practice. Working with co-head Sherry Pudloski, Cronin will help lead the global practice as well as being responsible for the day-to-day operations in the New York health practice.
Cronin joins Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide from Porter Novelli where she was the director of the New York healthcare practice. She was responsible for the operational and business leadership of the practice, which included Porter’s consumer healthcare group and its pharmaceutical group. She has 17 years of experience and has provided strategic counsel and senior oversight to clients including Pfizer, Wyeth and Baxter.

Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb and GlaxoSmithKline.
