Cronin Promoted to Lead New York Office at Ogilvy

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has promoted Kate Cronin to managing director of its flagship New York office, replacing Kym White, who departed earlier this year to take the senior corporate communications position at Baxter International.

NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has promoted Kate Cronin to managing director of its flagship New York office, replacing Kym White, who departed earlier this year to take the senior corporate communications position at Baxter International. Cronin will continue to play a leadership role in the firm’s global healthcare practice, developing and guiding brand strategies for healthcare clients across the Ogilvy PR network.

With nearly 20 years experience, Cronin has counseled clients on issues preparedness, crisis communications, disease awareness campaigns and brand promotions since arriving at Ogilvy in 2004 from Porter Novelli where she was the director of the New York healthcare practice, responsible for the operational and business leadership of the practice

Cronin has provided strategic counsel and senior oversight to clients including Pfizer, Wyeth and Baxter.
