LOS ANGELES—Hal Dash, who served as president of California public affairs firm Cerrell Associates for 21 years, has been named chairman and chief executive officer. Executive vice presidents Matt Klink and Lisa Gritzner will each assume the title of president. Executive vice president Kristen Lonner will become a principal. All title changes are effective immediately.
Dash has been with Cerrell Associates since 1977 and has helped guide the firm’s evolution from one focused almost exclusively on political campaign management into a full-service public affairs, advocacy and issues management agency serving a diverse group of clients throughout the United States.
Klink, who has worked at Cerrell Associates for 15 years, will continue to run the firm’s campaign and issues management practice area, which has grown substantially under his leadership during the past five years. Gritzner, who has worked at Cerrell Associates for five years and served as a chief of staff to former Los Angeles City Councilmember Cindy Miscikowski for seven years, has managed significant growth in the firm’s local government practice area.
Lonner heads the land use and planning practice area.
