NEW YORK--Fenton has hired David Richeson from Kaplow to help expand the social change firm's global digital presence.

Richeson left Kaplow last month after spending 18 months as MD and chief digital officer at the firm. At Fenton he is charged with leading digital and social media, along with strategic planning for clients and the firm.

"The proliferation of digital expression in the form of social media, mobile,  crowdfunding and its continuing evolution gives everyone a platform to express their views, speak truth to power, and to build communities and movements in the name of social progress like never before," Richeson told the Holmes Report.

Richeson joined Kaplow from Porter Novelli, where he led global and digital public relations for Procter & Gamble’s Gillette business. Prior to Porter, Richeson held senior-level positions at SapientNitro, Deutsche Bank and Lead Dog Digital.

“David excels in planning and executing 360-degree communications strategies to help brands and organizations connect with their audiences," said Fenton CEO David Fenton, to whom Richeson now reports. "He’s an industry veteran with a knack for transmedia storytelling, making him an excellent leader for our growing digital team.”
