SANTA BARBARA, CA—Davies has added three project managers. Dan Gurley, Sara Costin, and Joanne Thornton have joined Davies over the past four months, and each will lead a team of public affairs professionals in servicing clients.

Gurley joins the firm from The Caledonian Group, a Washington D.C., firm he founded, specializing in government relations, strategic planning, and international affairs. Prior to founding The Caledonian Group, Gurley served as national field director for the Republican National Committee during the 2004 election cycle.

Costin joins from Chandler Chicco Agency. Prior to Chandler Chicco, Costin worked as a federal lobbyist providing strategic counsel to healthcare companies and as a political appointee to the Department of Health and Human Services. He also worked for numerous political campaigns and was Northeast political director for the Clinton-Gore campaign in 1996.

Thornton returns to Davies after nearly eight years with Tenet Healthcare, where she served as a corporate communications manager.
