LOS ANGELES—California-based Davis, a full-service firm with expertise in public affairs, real estate and healthcare, has joined the Lumin Collaborative, the think tank created by CRT/tanaka, Padilla Speer Beardsley, and Peppercom. Davies is headquartered in Santa Barbara, Calif. with offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles and gives Lumin a presence in California again, replacing PainePR, which was acquired by Canadian communications holding company Cossette last year.

Lumin is an “intellectual collaborative” of independent mid-size agencies focused on “what’s next on the communications and marketing horizon.” Members also share training resources, identify and share best practices, and develop new communications concepts, products and services.

“Davies’ remarkable growth is not by accident,” explained Mark Raper, a founder and chairman of Lumin. “They are smart and have a stellar reputation for world-class service and terrific client results, especially in the healthcare, real estate and public affairs arenas.”
