Devaney Joins Golin to Lead Consumer Brands Practice

GolinHarris has appointed Sarah Devaney as executive vice president and group director of its consumer brands practice. Devaney will oversee the consumer brands team in Chicago, which counts McDonald’s, BP, Ralston Purina, and Unilever.

CHICAGO—GolinHarris has appointed Sarah Devaney as executive vice president and group director of its consumer brands practice. Devaney will oversee the consumer brands team in Chicago, which counts McDonald’s, BP, Ralston Purina, Unilever, Tyson Foods, General Mills and Florida Department of Citrus, among some of its clients.

 

Before joining GolinHarris, Devaney spent the last four years as director, global brand PR and corporate communications at Beam Global Spirits & Wine. Prior to Beam, he was a senior vice president in Edelman Chicago’s consumer division, where she led key client relationships including Wyndham International, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, The Illinois Tourism Bureau and Boeing.

 

Earlier in her career, Devaney worked at Hill & Knowlton as an account supervisor on the La Salle Partners and Navistar accounts; and as a PR director at JM Glass Associates.
