Dhillon Joins MS&L to Lead D.C. Office

Manning Selvage & Lee has appointed Neil Dhillon as managing director of its Washington, D.C. office and head of the firm’s national public affairs practice. Dhillon will be responsible for the office’s client and new business development, talent recruitment, and managing key client relationships.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Manning Selvage & Lee has appointed Neil Dhillon as managing director of its Washington, D.C. office and head of the firm’s national public affairs practice. Dhillon will be responsible for the office’s client and new business development, talent recruitment, managing key client relationships, and working closely with the agency's public affairs experts around the world. He will also develop best practices for the agency’s public affairs offering.

 

Dhillon has 25 years of experience providing strategic communications and public affairs counsel in Washington, D.C. He was most recently with Ruder Finn, where he was managing director of the D.C. office. He also served for six years as director of public affairs for Hill & Knowlton where he led the public affairs practice.

 

In government, he served as deputy assistant secretary of government affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation during the Clinton administration, and was chief of staff to Congressman Bob Matsui (D-Cal.), where he managed his tax, trade, and health care agenda in the powerful House Ways & Means Committee.

MS&L’s Washington D.C. office has previously been best known for its work in the healthcare sector.
