LONDON—DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group, an industry association representing movie studios, technology companies and production companies, has selected Weber Shandwick to handle its public relations activities across Europe. Weber Shandwick will implement a strategic communications program to update consumers and retailers on the latest developments in DVD as well as supporting the uptake of new generation experiences such as Blu-ray, HD and digital content delivery. The team will also enhance the profile of the DEG as a thought-leader in the European entertainment industry.
