SAN FRANCISCO—The life sciences practice at Financial Dynamics has been retained by Diversa Corporation, a leader in  the development of high-performance specialty enzymes for the biofuels, specialty industrial processes, and health and nutrition markets. FD will handle an ongoing business communications program.

Partnering with Diversa, whose specialty enzymes are developed from organisms discovered in remote locations which are engineered to improve industrial processes, FD will help boost the company’s corporate profile through an integrated campaign blending investor and media communications activities that target the professional investment community.

“Our business has developed significantly over the past few years to reach the commercialization stage for many of our enzyme products,” says Edward Shonsey, chief executive of Diversa. “We need a communications firm that understands our business and industry, as well as the market potential and implications for our array of products.”
