CLEVELAND—Dix & Eaton has established a strategic partnership with Dave Eaton, who has counseled many of the world’s leading companies on challenges related to globalization. Eaton, a partner at Global Novations, a firm that helps organizations unleash the capacity of their employees, has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of cultural integration, multinational teambuilding, global leadership development, global mobility coaching and large-scale, cross-border project consulting.

“A meaningful part of our work involves helping companies use the power of communication to gain the support and understanding of their global work forces. Doing that across multiple countries is a major challenge for many organizations,” said Scott Chaikin, chairman and chief executive officer at Dix & Eaton. “We’re very pleased to be able to offer Dave’s expertise as a value-add to our clients.”

Eaton has facilitated more than 500 workshops, team workouts and one-on-one coaching sessions for clients such as Wal-Mart, Fidelity, Deere, Samsung, Lego, Cisco, Timken, Bharti, Dell, Ernst & Young, Danfoss, Microsoft, Alcatel-Lucent, Novartis and Bechtel. His primary area of focus recently is on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other globalization work streams.

Eaton was a D&E account executive early in his career and serves on the firm’s board of directors. Previously, he was the founder of Eaton Consulting Group, which later merged with Meridian Resources to form Aperian Global, a privately held, cross-cultural training/consulting/webtools company, where he held the position of founder/owner/practice leader.
