Doll Named Managing Director of Golin's China Operations

GolinHarris has appointed Darby Doll as managing director of its China operation. Doll begins his new assignment in September and will report to John Morgan, regional managing director, Greater China.

SHANGHAI—GolinHarris has appointed Darby Doll as managing director of its China operation. Doll begins his new assignment in September and will report to John Morgan, regional managing director, Greater China. He will manage day-to-day business operations in Beijing and Shanghai, cultivate major client relationships and lead the marketing and new business development efforts for the agency’s offices in the region.

 

Doll joins GolinHarris from Ketchum where he served as general manager for Shanghai since 2008.  He brings experience from mainland China, Taiwan and the United States and has worked for multinational companies including FedEx, Jaguar Land Rover, Eaton, McDonald’s, Lufthansa and Applied Materials. Prior to Ketchum, Doll held positions with Johnston Wells Public Relations and Upstream Asia Media + Marketing.

He started his career as a journalist and was the Taiwan Bureau Chief for Gorilla Asia and editor for Taiwan News.

 

GolinHarris entered the mainland China market in 2004 and in recent years has added clients including Unilever Food Solutions, Coca-Cola, Nippon Paint, Pirelli, William Grant & Sons, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, and New World Hotel while growing its existing relationships with Dow Chemical Company, Georgia Department of Economic Development and Unilever.
