DALLAS—Ketchum has hired research veteran Don Bartholomew as senior vice president of digital and social media research for the Ketchum Global Research Network.

Bartholomew will manage KGRN’s operations in Ketchum South and Ketchum Midwest, and will work closely with Ketchum’s specialty groups and complementary businesses, including Ketchum Digital, word-of-mouth-marketing agency Zócalo Group, and Access Communications, Ketchum’s consumer and high-tech PR agency.

Bartholomew joins from Fleishman-Hillard’s Washington, DC, office, where he was responsible for digital research initiatives including social media monitoring, measurement and return-on-investment analysis.

Bartholomew has worked with such clients as Dell, Texas Instruments, Whole Food Market, Bayer and BMW. He previously held research-related positions at MWW Group, GCI Group, Alexander Communications and Cunningham Communications, and served as principal of his own firm, Acumentics Research.

He is a member of the Institute for Public Relations’ commission on pr measurement and evaluation and the Council of Public Relations Firms’ social media task force.
