PHILADELPHIA—Dorland Global, the healthcare communications agency acquired earlier this year by U.K. public relations holding company Huntsworth, has named Richard Minoff chief executive officer and president, succeeding both Harry Sweeney, who had been CEO, and Rita Sweeney, who had served as president and chief operating officer.

Harry and Rita Sweeney founded Dorland Global, more than 35 years ago. Minoff was a client of Dorland Global twenty years ago when he was a director of marketing at Wyeth.  He joined the agency in 2002 as president of Dorland Global Health Communications, a division focused on brand consultancy, marketing communications, and integrated marketing services.
