Edelman's Wertheim Joins Schwab

The Charles Schwab Corporationj has named Alison Wertheim vice president of public relations, reporting to senior vice president of public relations Greg Gable and responsible for supporting Schwab’s institutional business.

SAN FRANCISCO—The Charles Schwab Corporationj has named Alison Wertheim vice president of public relations, reporting to senior vice president of public relations Greg Gable and responsible for supporting Schwab’s institutional business.

Wertheim will oversee communications activities for Schwab Soundview Capital Markets, which provides technology-based equity research and trading services for institutions; services for investment managers; asset management products and services; and Schwab Corporate Services, employer provided individual investing and retirement services support.

Prior to joining Schwab, Wertheim spent nine years at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, including tenure as general manager and head of the corporate practice in the western region.
