LOS ANGELES—Edelman and digital media and entertainment advisory firm TAG Strategic have formed a global partnership to help clients meet the challenges of bringing emerging digital technologies to market. The companies’ combined expertise in public relations, entertainment, digital lifestyle and technology marketing expertise will provide an integrated solution for reaching consumers and influencers worldwide.
Edelman recently announced the formalization of the company’s digital entertainment, rights and technology practice. Based in Los Angeles, Edelman’s digital entertainment practice has represented clients, including Warner Bros., Microsoft, MySpace, Starbucks, The Recording Academy, Revver, and CinemaNow.
TAG Strategic is a new venture co-founded by Ted Cohen, former senior vice president of digital development at EMI, and a pioneer in the digital music industry, with partners Adrian Sexton, former vice president of digital media at Lionsgate Entertainment, and Gary Price, former director of content and commerce at AT&T Digital. The firm works with clients to establish or leverage brands and technologies, while also performing market intelligence, business development, strategic marketingand recommending best practices for transition and expansion into the digital realm.
