SAN MATEO, CA—Edelman has named senior vice president Kimberly Kupiecki to head its clean technology practice, part of the A&R Edelman technology group. Kupiecki, who has worked across the agency’s enterprise accounts and throughout the technology sector for nearly a decade, helped found the clean tech practice two years ago.

The practice works with companies providing solutions that optimize the use of natural resources while reducing ecological impact and clients have included Cree, Xantrex, Novazone, NatureMill, First Solar, GreenVolts, Adura, EDC, Crystal Clear Technologies, and KiteShip.

“Innovations in clean technology are driving emerging markets aimed at curbing our use of nonrenewable resources while creating economic value and jobs,” says Pam Talbot, president and chief executive officer of Edelman U.S.  “A&R Edelman was an early and aggressive supporter in clean technology and has built a solid expertise that we can leverage across Edelman worldwide.”
