Edelman Names New Managing Directors in Chicago

Edelman has appointed Kevin Cook and Caroline Dettman as managing directors in the firm’s Chicago office. In their new roles, Cook and Dettman will manage the corporate affairs and consumer brands groups respectively.

CHICAGO—Edelman has appointed Kevin Cook and Caroline Dettman as managing directors in the firm’s Chicago office. In their new roles, Cook and Dettman will manage the corporate affairs and consumer brands groups respectively, with both reporting to Mark Shadle and Janet Cabot, presidents of the firm’s central region.

 

Cook most recently served as general manager in Edelman Chicago’s reputation management practice. In his new role, he will lead a corporate communication practice that comprises reputation management, financial communications, crisis and issues, public affairs and corporate editorial services.

 

Dettman, an 11-year Edelman veteran, has led the company’s work for brands such as Wal-Mart, Unilever, Shell, VTech and ScottsMiracle-Gro. In addition to overseeing the Chicago consumer practice, Dettman serves as
