Edelman Names Pulchin to Lead New York Consumer Group

Edelman has named Howard Pulchin has been appointed general manager of its New York consumer marketing practice, replacing Lisa Sepulveda, who left last month to become president of Euro RSCG Magnet.

NEW YORK—Edelman has named Howard Pulchin has been appointed general manager of its New York consumer marketing practice, replacing Lisa Sepulveda, who left last month to become president of Euro RSCG Magnet. Howard was previously executive vice president and U.S. director of consumer mindset and brand directions. 

Pulchin has been a member of Edelman’s global consumer practice leadership since he rejoined the firm in 2000 and has led consumer brand initiatives for consumer clients including Xbox, Axe, Starbucks and Trojan.

Prior to Edelman, Pulchin was director of communications for Guinness Bass Import Company, responsible for all public relations, event marketing, corporate reputation, major promotional activity and entertainment marketing for the company’s broad portfolio of imported beers, including Guinness, Bass, Harp and Red Stripe.

Prior to Guinness, he spent seven years at Cohn & Wolfe as vice president and group manager.

Additionally, Christina Smedley is being appointed EVP, strategic planning and program development director for the Eastern Region. In this role, Christina will focus on business development and ensure consistent creative programming and the incorporation of new communications channels on key consumer accounts.
