SILICON VALLEY—Edelman has added Samsung Semiconductor to its Silicon Valley client roster, following a competitive review. Samsung Semiconductor becomes a part of the growing semiconductor group within Edelman’s Silicon Valley office and global technology practice, joining clients such as TSMC, Synopsys and Altium.

Samsung is the world’s second largest semiconductor manufacturer and the leader in memory, TFT displays, and SRAM. Currently, Edelman is working with Samsung Semiconductor on its U.S. trade press program, which includes media relations and trade show support. The account will be managed out of the Silicon Valley office with support from Portland.

“We chose Edelman because of its results-oriented, client-centric approach to public relations,” said Tom Quinn, vice president of memory sales and marketing at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc.  “The knowledge and experience of it semiconductor team lead us to believe it will help take our program to the next level.”
