Edelman to Handle Global PR for Kiwanis

Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers, has selected Edelman as its worldwide agency of record, following a competitive review.

CHICAGO—Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers, has selected Edelman as its worldwide agency of record, following a competitive review. Edelman will work with Kiwanis International to increase awareness of the service organization’s activities in the United States and Canada.

One of the world’s leading community-service organizations, Kiwanis International serves children and communities worldwide through 8,600 local chapters in 94 nations. Members of the Kiwanis dedicate more than six million volunteer hours and invest more than $100 million annually in projects that strengthen communities and serve children.

“For 90 years, Kiwanis has offered children and adults a unique avenue to address issues affecting children and to build leadership skills,” said Case Van Kleef, president of Kiwanis International. “By partnering with Edelman, we are ensuring that Kiwanis International is recognized as a powerful voice for children and the premier adult and youth volunteer service organization in the world.”

The account will be based in Chicago with additional support from Edelman’s Toronto office.
