CLEVELAND—Edward Howard & Co. has added Wal-Mart Stores as a new client. The firm will work with Wal-Mart on the development of new stores throughout Ohio. Edward Howard’s role will include outreach to public officials on zoning, traffic and store location issues, communicating with neighbors and the local business community, media relations, and support of community initiatives.
“Wal-Mart has a good story to tell about providing more than 1.5 million jobs, offering quality products at affordable prices, and a strong commitment to the communities it serves,” says Keith Morris, community affairs manager for the company. “We selected Edward Howard & Co. to help support our plans to expand Wal-Mart’s presence in Ohio because of its successful track-record of reputation management work and their extensive retail and public affairs experience.”
