EFTPOS Payments Appoints Sefiani

Sefiani Communications Group has been appointed as the corporate and consumer public relations agency for EFTPOS Payments Australia, established in 2010 with a mandate to manage, promote and develop EFTPOS, Australia’s leading debit card.

SYDNEY—Sefiani Communications Group has been appointed as the corporate and consumer public relations agency for EFTPOS Payments Australia, established in 2010 with a mandate to manage, promote and develop EFTPOS, Australia’s leading debit card.

 

Sefiani will work closely with EPAL to build stakeholder understanding of planned enhancements to EFTPOS, to drive acceptance and use among consumers and retailers. The appointment comes as EPAL announced strong growth in the number of transactions and volume of payments processed using EFTPOS in the six months to 31 December 2010.

 

Says Neera Manawakul, head of marketing: “We believe that public relations plays a critical role in communicating the EFTPOS story.  Our objectives are clear and we wanted to find a partner who is as passionate about the cause as we are.”
