PARIS—Nissan has hired Jesse Verstraete, currently director of corporate communications for Microsoft Asia, as its new general manager of corporate communications and CSR for Europe. Reporting to Stuart Jackson, VP communications for Nissan Europe, Verstraete will be responsible for issues and crisis management, corporate profiling, thought leadership and corporate and social responsibility. Prior to his current role, he was Microsoft’s senior EU corporate communications manager.
