STOCKHOLM—Manifest, the UK-based independent, has launched a new Swedish operation, Manifest Stockholm. Joining Manifest London and Manifest New York to become the third location for Manifest Group, Manifest Stockholm will be led by group CEO Alex Myers and two Swedish directors, Anna Karlsson and Josefine Hedlund (pictured). The office launches with clients including sustainable sportswear brand Houdini; Älska cider from The Swedish Cider Company; Military Work, a recruitment and staffing agency focused on helping ex veterans find civilian work; Scottish craft beer pioneer Innis & Gunn: Slättö, which develops, owns and manages new residential properties; and Sweden’s leading brand of organic peanut butter Green Choice.

LONDON—Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK has appointed the former news and current affairs journalist Zaiba Malik as a director in its issues and crisis management team. Malik joins H+K from Grayling PR. She  has reported for and produced on-the-day news stories and long-term investigations for BBC News, Panorama, Radio 4, Channel 4 News and Dispatches. As a communications consultant, she has worked with a wide variety of UK-based and global clients, including Sotheby’s, John West, Primark, Western Union, Whistles, Bauer Media and Ryder Cup Europe.

LONDON—Public engagement, public affairs, PR and content marketing agency Remarkable Group has agreed to acquire HardHat, the London-based property communications agency. HardHat will be merged with Remarkable Engagement, the group's existing public consultation and stakeholder division to create a London office with 30 team members, with additional offices in Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Bristol, Norwich and Winchester.

Eulogy will develop an on-going communications programme to support Exterion Media’s business across the UK, connecting the business with transport and retail franchise and advertiser audiences.

LONDON—Instinctif Partners has provided strategic counsel and communications advice to ThinkSmart, a leading provider in the UK of retail point-of-sale lease financing for electronic and commercial equipment, as it was admitted to trading on AIM in London last week. Instinctif was retained to advise on the listing, and will now act as ThinkSmart's corporate and capital markets communications adviser going forward.
