Marc-Sven Kopka is joining online business network XING as vice president corporate communications, plus a new member for the IPREX network and a new account for Barrett Dixon Bell.

HAMBURG—Marc-Sven Kopka is joining online business network XING as vice president corporate communications, reporting to CEO Stefan Gross-Selbeck. Kopka was most recently head of corporate communications at WestLB in Dusseldorf, Germany, responsible for marketing and investor relations for the bank both in Germany and abroad. He moved to WestLB from London, where was vice president corporate communications for AOL Europe.


LIVERPOOL—Paver Smith, a fast-growing PR agency with offices in Liverpool and Manchester, has been elected a partner in IPREX, the worldwide corporation of independent public relations and communication firms. The firm has experienced a five-fold increase in income since it was founded in 2006 and has been named North-West Agency of the Year in two separate competitions.
