Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has formalized an alliance with Whizpr, a Netherlands-based IT and lifestyle PR specialist, plus new business successes for Porter Novelli, Citigate Dewe Rogerson, and Lewis PR.

LONDON—Waggener Edstrom Worldwide has formalized an alliance in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with Whizpr, a Netherlands-based IT and lifestyle public relations specialist. The addition of Whizpr expands Waggener Edstrom’s alliance program to 17 worldwide partners servicing more than 45 markets globally.  As part of the agreement, Whizpr will deliver PR and event support in partnership with Waggener Edstrom for clients including Hitachi Data Systems, a leading provider of storage solutions, and Rackspace, a leading hosting and dedicated server provider.


LONDON—Porter Novelli has been appointed by MOFILM, the online film competition site that helps aspiring film-makers create videos for big brands and social causes, to raise its brand awareness and promote its products and services globally. According to Andy Baker, CEO of MOFILM: “MOFILM is at a crucial time in its history. Our brands are hungry for quality, creative films. This is where Porter Novelli will come in. We hope the agency will be able to persuade even more filmmakers globally to become part of this new movement.”


LONDON—Chaucer Holdings, the specialist Lloyd’s insurance group, has appointed Citigate Dewe Rogerson as its corporate and financial public relations adviser, following a competitive pitch process. The Citigate team is led by directors Justin Griffiths, Sarah Gestetner and Grant Ringshaw, supported by Nicola Smith and Kate Lehane.

LONDON—British homeware brand Emma Bridgewater has chosen Lewis PR to promote its 25th birthday campaign across print, broadcast and social media. Lewis will also provide public affairs support. Emma Bridgewater becomes the launch client for Lewis’ new consumer and travel practice, headed by Julia Perowne.
