BARCELONA—Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries, has selected Llorente & Cuenca to implement a strategy of global communication that increases the visibility of the company, its solutions and its values with the media and the public. The firm will work on issues sustainable development and the fight against climate change, in line with a global commitment made by the company.

BERLIN—Marius Voigt (pictured) has been named managing director of fischerAppelt in Berlin. He has held various management positions in the agency and has been director of the 65-person Berlin office since 2011.

ISTANBUL—Kurumsal Iletisim, a strategic communication consultancy in Istanbul, Turkey, has joined IPREX, the global network of communication agencies. Kurumsal Iletisim (“corporate communication” in English) works across sectors including construction, politics, retail, finance, economy, tourism, life-style and celebrity, with clients such as the Ministry of Environment & Urban Planning, Big Chefs Restaurants, Emlak GYO, GNL Entertainment, Güral Premier Tourism Group, NEF, FerYapi, Duble, Elio Sedef and Online Isler.

LONDON—College Hill, part of international business communications consultancy College Group, has been appointed by Brown Shipley, the UK private bank, to provide strategic communications consultancy on a retained basis. The firm has been retained to deliver a multi media campaign in support of the growth of the bank's UK and international client base.

PARIS—Hopscotch, one of the leading French communication consultancies, has named Isabelle Capron as an independent member of its supervisory board. Capron was most recently executive vice president at luxury foods company Fauchon, where she was responsible for the modernization and relaunch of the brand. She has also held positions with Colgate-Palmolive, FCB Advertising, and the Lanvin fashion house.

BARCELONA—Law firm Roca Junyent has named Helena Izard as director of business development, marketing and communication, responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s marketing plan as well as institutional relations and external communication. Izard has previously worked with companies such as MRW, Moviles, Hewlett-Packard and BBVA.
