LONDON—Trainline has appointed Victoria Biggs as European director of communications to drive brand awareness in the UK and continental Europe. Biggs will build a team across multiple markets including France, Germany, Italy and Spain and will lead strategy for consumer, corporate, social media and internal communications. She joins Trainline from MSLGroup after six years as managing director of the consumer practice, leading accounts including Procter & Gamble and Netflix. Earlier, she spent seven years at Freud Communications and three years at eBay UK.

AMSTERDAM—Frédérique Demenint-van der Ven (pictured) is to be appointed CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies in The Netherlands. She succeeds Ingo Heijnen, who after five years as CEO transitions to the role of chairman. Demenint has been with H+K for 13 years, and has been a member of the board for the last two years. Previously, she led the corporate communications practice, which is the largest business unit of H+K in The Netherlands. 

LONDON — Edelman UK and Ireland has hired Bronwen Andrews as group new business director. Andrews arrives from MSLGroup where she spent nearly a decade, first as consumer director, and more recently as EMEA business development head.

LONDON—Eulogy has promoted Lucie Kaye  to director, head of consumer. Kaye has been with the agency for six years andwill now sit on Eulogy's operating board, responsible for building on its expertise in food and drink, financial services, travel and entertainment. She takes the reins from Scot Devine, who takes up a new, cross-agency role of brand and innovation director, charged with driving innovation across paid, earned, shared and owned media. 

LONDON—Carson Gray Elias has returned to MSLGroup, having previously headed up its specialist practice dedicated to luxury, lifestyle and fashion brands in North America. She now joins the UK team to lead the luxury and lifestyle team after working with Edelman to establish its UAE office. In addition, 
Amber O'Conner joins as global and EMEA director to run accounts both global and regional. She previously established the consumer health practice in Edelman London.

ZAGREB—Eurocom Worldwide, the global PR network, has selected Visicom PR of Croatia, as a new member agency for Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. Founded in 2004, Visicom specializes in the technology, consumer electronics and FMCG sectors. The agency provides public relations, media relations, corporate communications, event management, crisis management, media training services.

AMSTERDAM—uniQure, a leader in human gene therapy, has appointed Maria Cantor as senior vice president, investor relations and communications. Cantor joins the company from ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, where she most recently held the role of senior vice president, corporate affairs.
