LONDON—Skycig, a leading brand of electronic cigarettes, has appointed W and Cake to handle its PR and experiential activity. The firms will work alongside creative agency Brothers and Sisters to support the brand’s recently announced advertising campaign. W has taken on the PR brief, including consumer, retail and B2B PR, while Cake has been appointed to handle the experiential account, including key brand activation activity.

LONDON—Former Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK group managing director Ben Curson is joining international business communications consultancy Instinctif Partners as managing partner in its international corporate affairs practice. Based in London, he will have a particular responsibility for growing and developing business and clients in their global professional and financial services offering.

PARIS—Paris-based Idenium, a public relations firm serving clients in the advertising, entertainment and media industry, has formed a new partnership with New York-based OpenCommunications Omnimedia, a PR and digital content-creation company likewise specialized in the digital advertising and media field.

LONDON—Consumer lifestyle PR agency Escapade PR has added two new clients: OtterBox a smartphone case manufacturer, and Bergere de France, a French based fine yarn manufacturer. Escapade's consumer technology team will provide strategic planning, press office and creative campaign support in the UK for OtterBox, which is rapidly expanding brand awareness and sales across its range of premium smartphone cases.

LONDON—Cicero Group has appointed Christina Bridge as an account manager in its corporate PR practice. Bridge joins Cicero from Broadgate Mainland where she worked across a wide range of financial services sectors from lifetime mortgages to stockbroking. She previously spent two years in the press office at the Investment Management Association.

LONDON—Headland, the independent financial communications and corporate reputation consultancy, has hired public affairs and reputation management specialist Toby Pellew as an associate director. Pellew joins from Camberton, a strategic communications and PA consultancy, where he has worked since 2011. Earlier, he spent a number of years at Luther Pendragon.

LONDON—Broadgate Mainland, the financial and professional services PR agency, has been appointed to support SEB, the leading Nordic corporate bank, in the UK and on a pan-European basis. The firm will work with SEB to highlight its position as a premier Nordic corporate bank, expanding awareness of SEB's brand and offering. Broadgate Mainland will work primarily with SEB’s corporate banking activities, including financial institutions, market research, working capital management and in particular, SEB’s Green Bond framework.
