Leidar acquires Norwegian firm; new business success for Good Relations, We Are Social, College Hill and Boom!

NYON—International brand and reputation consultancy Leidar, founded in 2009 by former Weber Shandwick continental Europe chief executive Rolf Olson, has acquired the majority of Gandalf, a Norwegian communication agency. Leidar will now have offices in Kongsvinger and Oslo, Norway, as well as in London and its headquarters in the greater Geneva area, Switzerland. Anders Fjeld, managing director of Gandalf, will now become managing director of Leidar Norway.

LONDON—Drinks manufacturer SABMiller has awarded the Pilsner Urquell global consumer account to Good Relations. The brief will include strategy development, digital, events, partnerships and media relations.

LONDON—Global social media agency We Are Social has been appointed by Asian beer brand Tiger as its retained agency in the UK, responsible for all social media activity. We Are Social will provide strategic consultancy services around ongoing community management and engagement on all social media platforms to bring the brand's newly launched above-the-line creative campaign to life.

LONDON—College Hill has been appointed by Kcell, one of the largest mobile telecom operators in Kazakhstan, to advise on its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.

LONDON— Zig Zag Productions, the production company behind TV shows including “Freddie Flintoff Versus the World,” Channel 4 game show “Relentless.” and current National Geographic Channel hit “Scam City” has appointed Boom! with a PR brief to build the company's corporate profile. Zig Zag has appointed the agency to raise awareness of the studio in a global B2B brief.
