LONDON—Cicero Group and BritainThinks have launched a partnership offering research, polling and political analysis to help businesses prepare for the UK’s European Referendum. The collaboration will provide an assessment of the referendum through services ranging from qualitative research and monthly analyses to full strategic counsel and political engagement. In addition, the service will analyse the impact of a reformed EU and how either result will affect companies and their customers.

VIENNA—Telekom Austria has appointed Ingrid Spörk as director of corporate communications and sustainability, responsible external and internal communications as well as for sustainability topics. She was previously managing director at Grayling.

LONDON—Four Broadgate, the financial and professional services PR agency, has been appointed as the retained agency of Seneca Investment Managers, the value focused multi asset investment house based in Liverpool. Four Broadgate will work with Seneca Investment Managers to provide PR support to its business and to promote the investment expertise of its fund management team.

GENEVA—LifeSci Advisors, an investor relations and corporate communications firm focused on the life sciences sector, has appointed Chris Maggos as managing director, Europe, to spearhead the expansion of the company's services to European clients. Maggos is the founder of BioConfidant, a Geneva-based consulting firm that helped senior executives achieve their financing and partnering goals. He was previously with Addex Therapeutics as head of investor relations and communication.

LONDON—Beattie has launched a content marketing business, Only Content. The new business offers three basic services: content strategy, content creation and content placement.

HAMBURG—Cohn & Wolfe has won the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie account, which will be handled in partnership with Jung von Matt and will focus on the grand opening of Hamburg's new landmark and concert house. Cohn & Wolfe will oversee global PR planning across several key markets in Europe, North America and Asia. 

LONDON—Firefly Communications has appointed Christian Sharp as senior account director. He joins from Threepipe where he led the B2B team, running a combination of PR, social and content-led campaigns for brands such as Oracle Primavera, MindLink and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Prior to Threepipe, Sharp worked at agencies including Spark, Waggener Edstrom and The Octopus Group.
