New business for Albion Drive, EML Wildfire, Farrer Kane, Aspectus, College Hill; a new senior exec at H+K; and a new firm.

LONDON—Mozilla, a non-profit organization best known as the maker of Firefox, is working with Albion Drive to publicize its flagship tech event #Mozfest 2013. Albion Drive will be responsible for publicizing the event as well as its product launches and announcements; profiling speakers and community members; and managing the on-site press office. Part of the agency's remit is to shine a light on the Mozilla community's educational, social and cultural initiatives.


LONDON – Hill+Knowlton Strategies UK has bolstered its growing technology team with the appointment of Andrew Stafford (pictured) as a senior account director. He joins H+K from Firebox.com and brings more than 11 years in both in-house and agency roles. He will provide strategic and creative counsel for a range of high-profile international clients, including Intel UK.

LONDON—Frank Bright & Abel, a new communications consultancy, has been launched by Andrew Gibbs, a co-founder of Radley Yeldar, and Rebecca Price, the former managing director of creative agency Lloyd Northover. The consultancy offers expertise in brand identity, brand communications and internal engagement for clients in B2B, higher education and financial services.

LONDON—Nutz, a new high-end, luxury headphones brand, has appointed consumer technology PR agency EML Wildfire to drive mass consumer awareness for its UK launch. The initial focus will be on maximising online visibility and comprehensive product reviews to secure distribution and sales, before generating mass consumer awareness in 2014. EML Wildfire has also been tasked with building Nutz’ credentials within the music industry.

LONDON—Ramboll, the global design and engineering consultancy, has hired communications agency Farrer Kane to spearhead its media relations activity in the UK. Ramboll has tasked Farrer Kane with boosting its profile in the UK media, focusing on key projects that showcase the company’s innovation in building, transport, environment and energy.

LONDON—Aspectus PR has been appointed by Biznet, which specialises in helping energy companies manage their supply chains better, to promote supplier performance management in the oil and gas industry.

LONDON—College Hill has been appointed to act for Acal, a leading European specialist electronics supplier, to provide communications consultancy to the group’s key investor and media audiences.
