HOUSTON—Kimberly Jordan, a veteran energy journalist and former bureau chief for Bloomberg News, has been named vice president of Hill & Knowlton’s energy practice. Jordan is based in H&K Houston where she provides strategic counsel and direction. She reports to Elizabeth Northrup, senior vice president of public affairs in the Washington, D.C. office.
Hill & Knowlton’s energy practice works on the environmental, financial, economic or political challenges facing the energy sector.
With more than a decade of experience covering energy for Bloomberg News as part of her 17-year career as a journalist, Jordan has experience in the sector. While serving as bureau chief of the Houston office, she coordinated interviews with leaders from companies such as ConocoPhillips and NextEra Energy and was responsible for Gulf Coast coverage. As an editor on the North American energy team, she assigned and edited stories about US, Canadian and Latin American energy companies.
