Entertainment PR Veteran Launches Chambers Group

Entertainment public relations veteran Chris Chambers has launched The Chambers Group, a full-service public relations and image branding firm.

NEW YORK—Entertainment public relations veteran Chris Chambers has launched The Chambers Group, a full-service public relations and image branding firm. The firm opens its doors with a core roster of clients including Grammy award winners OutKast, Usher, Jill Scott, Monica, Ciara, Mario, and Stacie Orrico, as well as Usher’s new group One Chance, Warner-Chappell Music Publishing, the New York Knicks’ star Jamal Crawford, and acclaimed fashion designer Stephen Burrows.

Chambers was most recently senior vice president of publicity and artist development at Sony BMG Music Entertainment. Prior to joining Sony BMG, Chambers was vice president, publicity at Arista Records and senior director of publicity at Interscope Records.

Joining Chambers at the new firm are Sherlen Archibald, Junior Suriel, and Kate Lupson. Archibald moves to TCG from his position at Sony BMG; Suriel comes to TCG after nine years at Interscope/Geffen/A&M; and Lupson comes to TCG after three years with PR agency Susan Blond.
