NEW YORK—Stacy Mackler has been appointed executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Euro RSCG Worldwide PR. Mackler will oversee new business and organic growth and will oversee two critical agency initiatives: the Center for Account Management Excellence and SoMe Central, a branded think tank to track social media trends for public relations professionals.
As vice president of global communications for Clinique, Mackler positioned the brand to the coveted and highly significant 18-to-24-year-old demographic worldwide through a series of online and offline initiatives. Additionally, by partnering with unexpected, relevant and influential companies and celebrities, Mackler extended Clinique's reach and presence, leading to alternative distribution channels as well as increased visibility and cachet for brand reinvigoration.
Under the leadership of new president Marian Salzman, Euro RSCG Worldwide PR has been operating a new model, introducing new products and services including Newsengine, a dedicated media relations department that focuses on both digital and traditional media approaches; The Sisterhood, a teen-girl-focused agency within and agency that connects marketers with that misunderstood consumer demographic; and an overall spotlight on social media, including the Social Life and Social Media blog.
