SAN FRANCISCO, July 19—The Eurocom PR Network, a pan-European network of independent technology public relations firms, has opened an office in San Francisco to provide support for west coast clients seeking to improve media coverage for their clients in Europe and the Middle East. The Bay Area office is the network’s second in the U.S., following a Boston office that was opened earlier this year.

Eurocom says it will not compete with U.S.-based PR and marketing communications firms for domestic PR business. Instead, it will pursue individual projects or ongoing affiliations with PR and marketing communications firms, offering a consistent and scalable approach to media and markets across Europe, with one contact and billing point.

The office will be led by Susan Spencer, a 20-year business communications veteran with experience spanning high technology, biomedical and environmental sectors.
