Hannu Vuola has been appointed manging director of the Finnish operations of JKL Group, plus a new senior executive at Waggener Edstrom and a new account at Johnson King.

HELSINKI—Hannu Vuola has been appointed manging director of the Finnish operations of Publicis Groupe-owned strategic communications firm JKL Group. Vuola joins after serving as communications director for Sampo Bank. Prior to Sampo Bank, Mr. Vuola worked as a journalist for more than 10 years and as a business developer for Evli Bank and was communications director at Sampo Group. Antti Ruuskanen, who has acted as general manager of JKL Helsinki since 2001, continues as senior advisor and consultant within JKL Group.


LONDON—Global technology public relations agency Waggener Edstrom Worldwide continues to expand its corporate communications practice offerings with the appointment of Will Cameron as its new director of corporate strategy. Cameron was formerly head of corporate media relations at Logica and will work with clients on corporate reputation and issues management programmes. Prior to joining Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Cameron spent more than two decades in senior positions and worked at Inspace, Philips Components and Thorn EMI.
