OSLO—Lars Saethre has been appointed partner in JKL Group. Saethre will continue to hold his position as strategic communication advisor at JKL in Oslo, and as partner will be part of JKL Group’s Nordic management team. Saethre has more than ten years experience as a strategic communication advisor. He participated in the launch of Woldsdal & Partnere in 1998, and worked with the firm until it joined forces with JKL in 2002. Before this, he worked as a business journalist for several Norwegian newspapers, including Aftenposten.
LONDON—The Proprietary Association of Great Britain, the U.K. trade association for manufacturers of branded over-the-counter medicines and food supplements, has appointed Fishburn Hedges as its public affairs consultancy, following a four-way pitch. According to Gopa Mitra, PAGB director of health policy and public affairs: "We want to ensure that all political parties recognise the contribution of food supplements to public health and properly appreciate the cost savings to the NHS available if more people looked after minor ailments themselves. Mmd will create and implement Tele2 consumer and corporate campaigns on the Croatian market.
