A new corporate communications chief at Barclays Global Investors; new accounts at Four Communicationsand Barrett Dixon Bell; and a new Polish MD for Pleon.

LONDON—Barclays Global Investors has appointed Robb Corrigan as managing director and global head of corporate communications and managing director, responsible for all of BGI’s corporate communications activities. Corrigan joins BGI from Man Group where he was the head of communications. Previously, he was with Merrill Lynch & Co., where he held a variety of senior communication and media relations roles.


LONDON—The U.K.’s largest real estate investment trust, Land Securities, has appointed the Liverpool office of Four Communications to manage public consultation and handle public relations for its £100 million development proposals for St Johns Shopping Centre, Liverpool's largest covered shopping centre.In addition to providing public affairs advice and a 24-hour press office operation, Four has assigned a dedicated member of staff to manage Land Securities' purpose-built marketing suite, located in the centre.
