Costa Coffee appoints Grayling, plus new clients for Good Relations, Citigate Dewe Rogerson, and Harvard Public Relations, and new mebers for Public Relations Boutiques International.

LONDON—Costa Coffee, one of the U.K.’s largest and fastest growing coffee shop chains, has appointed Grayling to help promote the Costa brand—including its ethical credentials— across the U.K. Grayling will help highlight the work of the Costa Foundation, which builds facilities including schools and water wells in coffee-growing communities in Latin America and Africa, as well as Costa's partnership with the Rainforest Alliance. Costa's local CSR work, and its record as a good employer, will also be part of the message-mix.


LONDON—Good Relations has been appointed by leading outdoor and fishing specialist brand, Orvis, to represent its range of products in the U.K. Good Relations will work on a media relations strategy that combines key product placement, sampling, event management and new store opening support.  The PR program, which will be headed by consumer director Christine Morgan, will promote Orvis’s specialist fishing premium range as well as their general outdoor fashion and accessories.


NEW YORK—Public Relations Boutiques International, a worldwide network of independent PR firms, has added three new members, bringing the total membership to 15 firms.  The three new member firms are Prima Public Relations of Cleveland; PHPR of Edinburgh, Scotland; and Omnes Imperium, of Moscow.


LONDON—Citigate Dewe Rogerson has been appointed as financial public relations adviser to AFI Development, the Russian real estate development company. David Westover and Sally Marshak are leading the account. AFI Development focuses on developing and redeveloping high quality commercial and residential real estate assets in Moscow and other major Russian cities.
