Everett Joins Time In Lead Communications Role

Time Inc. has appointed Teri Everett as executive vice president of corporate communications.

NEW YORK—Time Inc. has appointed Teri Everett, who stepped down from her senior communications role at News Corp. earlier this year, as executive vice president of corporate communications.

Everett will manage all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations and publicity, executive and employee communications, corporate philanthropy, government affairs and social responsibility. She will report to Time CEO Laura Lang.

Everett will advise on communications strategies across departments and divisions within the Company. Additionally, she will be responsible for the execution of corporate philanthropy and social responsibility strategy.

Everett most recently served as senior vice president of corporate affairs and corporate communications of News Corp. She joined News Corp. in 2000 as vice president of corporate communications and spearheaded its Los Angeles-based communications initiatives, before expanding her portfolio of responsibilities to include corporate affairs and corporate social responsibility.
