ENGELWOOD, February 5—Evolving Systems, a leading provider of complex operations software products to clients in the telecommunications industry, has named Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its agency of record.  Ogilvy PR’s technology practice, Alexander Ogilvy, will lead the account out of Denver in conjunction with a New York-based investor relations team.

“We are in a very important phase of our development at Evolving Systems and so partnering with the right agency—one that has both technology expertise and Wall Street relationships—was a critical next step,” says James Ross, president and COO. “We recently restructured our organization to meet increasing market demands, improve our responsiveness to market issues and enhance overall efficiency. Ogilvy PR will be responsible for executing an integrated public relations and investor relations program and we see this as a strategic component to our success in 2002 and beyond.”

Ogilvy PR represents several telecommunications and infrastructure clients including Qwest Communications and Sun Microsystems. In the investor relations area, Ogilvy PR represents Mykrolis Corporation, American Home Mortgage, Cell Therapeutics Inc., and Digi International.
