Expedia wanted to position itself as an innovative player on the French market. Thus Hopscotch suggested launching a travel blogs competition in 2005. In collaboration with blogSpirit, one of Hopscotch’s companies, a dedicated blog platform was created: www.blogs-de-voyage.fr.
