FAIRFAX—ExxonMobil, the global oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals company, has enlisted Weber Shandwick to handle public relations activities for the company’s lubricants and petroleum specialties business in the United States.

Weber Shandwick will provide business-to-business and consumer public relations support designed to increase media visibility and consumer awareness of the company’s wide range of Exxon- and Mobil-branded lubricants.

“We intend to leverage Weber Shandwick’s automotive and industrial expertise to create greater awareness about the technical innovations and performance benefits associated with our products, and to reaffirm our leadership position in the automotive, commercial and industrial lubricant marketplace,” says Henrik Hansen, marketing services manager for ExxonMobil Lubricants & Petroleum Specialties Company.
