BEIJING, June 13—Fleishman-Hillard has named Li Hong senior vice president and managing director of its Fleishman-Hillard Link joint venture on mainland China. Li Hong, formerly managing director for Ogilvy & Mather and Ogilvy Public Relations in Bejing, will be responsible for the firm’s client services across mainland China.

Says F-H chairman and CEO John Graham, “Li Hong is an outstanding addition to our Asia Pacific management team. His government relations and consulting background further strengthens our position, and he also brings a deep local market understanding that many of our clients are seeking as China’s role in global business continues to grow.”

Li Hong began his career in 1983 as a liason officer for the American & Oceanic division of the Chinese Ministry of Culture’s bureau of external cultural relations.
