CHICAGO—GolinHarris has named Scott Farrell and Gary Rudnick to co-regional managing directors for the U.S. Central Region, which includes the agency’s offices in Chicago, Dallas and Houston.  Farrell and Rudnick will report directly to Fred Cook, president and chief executive officer.

“We are establishing a dual management team because of the importance of the Central Region to the overall growth and performance of the agency,” says Cook.  “Scott and Gary are two of our strongest leaders and I am confident that this new structure will ensure continued growth in our largest region, while supporting the overall company.”

Farrell and Rudnick will share responsibility for managing the region while still retaining their respective roles as managing directors of the Chicago and Texas offices.   They will also join the agency’s executive management committee. In addition, Rudnick will assume responsibility for the interactive/media practice, positioning and growing the interactive media capability, as well as traditional media relations. Farrell will head the global corporate practice, which includes traditional capabilities as well as the corporate social responsibility specialty group, Change.
