Fender Adds First VP of PR and Corporate Communications

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has named Jason Padgitt vice president of public relations and corporate communications, a new position. Padgitt joins from entertainment public relations firm Rogers & Cowan.

SCOTTDSDALE, AZ—Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has named Jason Padgitt vice president of public relations and corporate communications, a new position. Padgitt joins from entertainment public relations firm Rogers & Cowan, where he has been a vice president in the Los Angeles office, managing several major music and entertainment accounts, including Gibson Guitar, the Grammy Awards, and recording artist Hilary Duff.

In his new role at Fender, he will establish their first proactive corporate communications effort, managing public relations, media relations, marketing communications and co-branding team globally. Fender is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of guitars, amplifiers and related equipment since 1946.

The search was handled by Larry Marshall, CEO of Marshall Consultants.
